Our Story.

Everyone who works with Erebus Canine has either grown up, lived, or worked extensively in some of the most remote and logistically complex parts of the globe. Having experienced first hand the damage done to communities by crime and a lack of community safety solutions, our people are deeply invested in each and every project we embark on. Our individual journeys combine to create a strong foundation on which a resilient and determined team has been built.

Erebus Canine was born out of a desire to empower remote communities, organisations, and governments with the capability and capacity to ensure safety and security in their region without ongoing reliance on external parties.

As a team we are driven by a desire to safeguard traditional ways of life and community values by interdicting factors that could erode them such as narcotics, contraband, biosecurity hazards, and border security issues. We also train each team member to be effective in search and rescue scenarios, ensuring they can further contribute to the safety of the wider population.

Security is more than a job to our people; it is personal. We hire from within the communities we serve, and equip those individuals with the tools and knowledge they need to protect the public and subsequently train the next generation of security professionals.

We hire, vet, equip, train, deploy and support people of all genders, orientations, and backgrounds. We look for people who care about the place they live, who want to serve their community, who are dynamic, courageous, and reliable. Each professional undergoes vetting and is put through an extensive period of training and education. We set the highest standards of training, fitness, and execution of task for the people who work with us, and they push to do better and re-define these standards.

Our dedication extends beyond our immediate operations. We are passionate advocates for the welfare of working dogs, ensuring they receive the best care, nutrition, and enrichment throughout their careers and into retirement. Our community outreach programmes educate the public on the vital roles these dogs play, as well as enriching the lives of the people we visit in care homes and educational centres.

We are proud of the service we offer, and continue to work by the motto adopted by each member of our team; Be Better.
